Complaint Details
1. Purchased Puma Unlimited Hi Evo Lux Sneakers in June 2013 from Flipkart.com
2. Didn't use much initially. When I started wearing it in October I found that its inside leather started coming out.
3. I approaced PUMA customer care through CustomerCareIndia@puma.com and 1800-102-7862.
4. They asked for copy of bill and pictures of shoes, which I provided to them.
5. They responded that "With regard to your mail,we regret to inform you that after inspection of the product it has not been approved as a manufacturing defect. The defect in the product is due to usage pattern over a period of time.We wish to inform you our exchange policy: we extend a warranty of 3 months on manufacturing defects form the date of purchase of the PUMA product and unworn merchandise to be exchanged within 15 days. So,we will not be in a condition to provide further assistance(replacement) at this point of time for this particular product."
6. Mean while, I got the shoes inspected at one of their sales store at Chandigarh and they agreed that the product indeed has a manufacturing defect, as it has already faded and its inside leather is totally dead visible from the pasting area which has come out. Though, he unofficially agreed that it's a replacement candidate, but he is helpless to offer the same.
7. I requested them to get my shoes inspected physically by your professional to ensure that there is no manufacturing defect, as your store personnel have unofficially agreed that this is manufacturing defect.
8. They didn’t respond further.
9. Can you please take up my case with them.
