I have bought Altis Toyota in March 2015. Since i bought this car i faced tyre problem twice in last 9 months.
I am surprised how come a company like Toyota is using a cheap radials like Yokohama for top model of Altis. Yokohoma ia not accepted as high standard radials in USA and EUROPE.
First it happened in June when i found damaged tyre on my car where there was a bump on side of my front tyre. This usually happens when tyre has weaker side wall. When i complaint about it at the service station of Uttam Toyota in Sahibabad UP they did not accept any warrenty of tyre. After a long follow up finally they agreed to replace tyre at a diacount of 70% where as tyre should be replaced on pro-rata basis of usage where i should i get atleast 90% discount. They clearly did not accept their responsiblity and i had to fight for my right and paid extra amount.
Now recently on 24 December 2015 while i was driving; my another Front tyre brusted which have almost caused a huge accident. Luckily we were able to prevent it. Again on inspection tyre side wall was found at fault. This is clear that case of faulty product and this time also Yokohama and Toyota are putting fault at me.
Please tell me if i will jump out of driving car brust my new car tyre and complaint about it ?
THIS IS RIDICULOUS. THIS IS TIME WHEN CAR AND TYRE COMPANY SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.
