Complaint Details
We were booked with Jet Airways Flight No :9W 619 , dated 19th Dec,2015 to fly from Mumbai to Kolkata in the name of Arpita Panja Kesh & Abhijoy Panja Kesh. This flight was scheduled for 6.05 AM departure from Mumbai to Kolkata.

Our Final destination was Paro (BHUTAN) and we had a connecting flight to catch from Kolkata airport on the same day at 10.40 am to Paro by DRUK AIR (KB 153).

We came to know about JET AIRWAYS FLIGHT delay immediately after reaching to Check In Counter. We spoke to the Airport In Charge Ms. Suzzane about our situation. She specified about a weather issue at Kolkata airport refer to the delay in flights and assured us the flight will positively depart by 6.45 am.

Mr. Nadeem ( Duty Incharge, Jet Airways ) & Ms. Suzzane ( Supervisor, Jet Airways) also assured, in case the flight delays further, they will book us to MUM-DEL and DEL-BHUTAN flight. This looked like a perfect solution for us to reach to Bhutan on time on 19th Dec,2015.

At 6.30 am, Mr.Nadeem informed us about the boarding announcement of KOLKATA bound flight of Jet Airways and confirmed us the flight departure at 7.15 am. Which could help us to reach to Kolkata by 9.30 am and catch the DRUK AIR FLIGHT.

Once we boarded the flight, The captain announced the departure at 8.00 AM and all the passengers kept on waiting for an hour inside the flight. That very moment we contacted Nadeem & Suzzane and all related officials to shift us to Bhutan Bound flight. But no action being taken and the flight took off finally at 8.15 am.

DRUK AIR, Kolkata to Paro dated 19th Dec took off exactly on time at 10.40 am and we missed the flight as Jet Airways landed at 10.40 am only. ( at Kolkata ). Even after our continuous effort we lost our entire money of the connecting flight.

Flight Delay, Wrong Communication and Non cooperation from Jet airways stuff lead us to loss Rs.17426 ( Druke air, Kolkata-Paro fare for 3 passengers ).
