I purchased plasma TVs in 2012 with a 3 year warranty. During that tenure the panel of the to developed green line in the Center, and instead of changing the panel they just passed time. When it's out of warranty and with same problem the panel needs to be changed. Once the tv switched off spontaneously and that too was resurfaced again. Now company is not accepting its fault. I had similar problem in another and that was (panel ) replaced by the company immediately. I have confirmed from the various sources that lines in the panel is mainly due to the defect in the panel and company is bound to change the panel or replace the to within a warranty period. But panasonic just passed time till the warranty is over. If it was not in the panel then why every time same problem is resurfacing again and again in spite of changing the board circuit thrice. Now it's out of warranty the company is asking 32000 rupees from the change of panel for the TVs which costed me 38000. On writing to the company on mail . On Monday 4/1/2016 their ASM Mr.Ravi called me and gave their idea so called the resolution of the complaint. Theyhave calculated the cost of the TV as 30% of the the purchase value which is 11000 and offered me a model 42 inches which after discount and subtracting 11000 cost me 33000 that's too without warranty. What's the deal. Better I should have new for 33000 that too with a warranty of 3 years. It's not acceptable to me. If I pay so much that too without a warranty seems a foolish deal. This is not expected from a panasonic. Where I stand if that develop some defect within a year. I have to shell out another few thousand.This is how these people resolve the customer problems, instead they are pushing more deep into the problem. Till date I have not received any mail from the customer care team.
