Complaint Details
On 29.9.15 I had placed an order of one bookcase and one centre table (order no 85248)through the online website of Housefull furniture. The amount was Rs 14,630 and was paid by internet banking. On behalf of the company Ms Jagruti Saitavdakar confirmed the order and confirmed its dispatch through Gati Couriers (Docket no. 345911028) and confirmed delivery by 15.10.15. Gati tracking services showed a promised delivery date of 12.10.15. On 14.10.15, when i tried tracking the package, gati tracking showed "package lost/damaged". On 29.10.15 Gati couriers attempted delivery of the package where the package showed signs of tampering and damage. So i refused to accept the package and wrote on their company papers about the reason of non-acceptance. Since then, I have been repeatedly calling their consumer call-line asking for a refund. I have spoken to at least 5-6 different sales people and all of them said that the amount will be credited within 7 working days. Till date, the money has not been refunded.
