When I went to by my Honda City in 2012, and referred 20 others to buy, I used to say only one thing, don't look at the interiors; look at the body and soul as in Drive train and the Engine; that costs 9 lacs and the rest is only 1 lac when you cough up to 10 lacs odd to get a Honda city with very crude looking interiors. But what I have got is a lemon!!
I WILL NEVER TRY A HONDA PRODUCT AGAIN IN MY LIFE, and inform people how they fleece you keeping the initial price low; I have owned Suzuki and Hyundai cars in the past - they play it much straight.. more reasonable.

A clutch plate will wear out; my problem is not the clutch plate itself it is something else. the clutch is rusty and makes a noise like a squeezy toy when i press it. People often turn back and see in traffic lol :-)..

So my clutch started becoming noisy after i did about 32 K; now i am managing using anti rust spray every now near fork BUT THEN it will last for a week. So i don't have a power train issue such as shuddering (associated with wear of clutch plate); I believe, it is A CHEAP COMPROMISED MATERIAL THAT HAS RESULTED IN THIS PROBLEM; now THEY ARE forcing me to address clutch problem paying for the entire assembly which will cost me 40K by visiting dealer!!! A good properly driven car will at least do 60-65 K before the clutch plate issues crop.

MY ISSUE IS NOT CLUTCH PRESSURE PLATE, IT IS SOMETHING ELSE LIKE RELEASE BEARING OR FORK THEY SAY; BUT WHY ARE OTHER COMPONENTS UNABLE TO SUPPORT THE LIFE OF CLUTCH PRESSURE PLATE FACING THE REAL WEAR AND TEAR FROM TRANSMISSION? THEY CANNOT BLAME CITY DRIVING AND ALL THAT CRAP!!

When you ask them they will tell you, it has a hydraulic clutch; what is the use?? and clutch means it will have wear and tear like a parrot even before you complete...

Its a shame that Honda talks so much but will not support; I had to follow up several times to get emails back and they will only say the following.

Honda's founder's "Mr. Soichiro Honda's" quote -> “What we learn through failure becomes a precious part of us, strengthening us in everything we do. So let the tough things make you tougher.”

Yes, Honda is strengthening themselves with customer's money. And it is tough on us anyway after buying, will not know what to do!!! We get tough on the company in return. Sorry sir, with great respect to your achievements, this is the meaning, i had to derive from my own experience, once a loyal and brand ambassador of Honda Cars telling all t buy it. My friends are looking down at me for referring this car. They have same rusty clutch at lesser mileage.

And I laugh at the mad rush the customers are having to line up to buy Honda cars and lose their money!! I have done my bit to save such people.
