I write to file a compliant against Hard Rock Hotel Goa and Goibibo for recovery of full amount along with harassment charges.

Details of booking made:
Date of booking: Jan 26, 2016
Booking for 2 nights at Hard Rock Hotel Goa for check in at 30th Jan 2016 and check out on 1st Feb 2016.
Total cost of booking: Rs. 14,697
However, due to some emergency on Friday early morning i.e. 29th Feb morning, we realised that we would not able to undertake said travel plan. The next thing we did was to contact the Hotel (Mr. Lenny, Ms Fatima, Mr. Martin and many others) and Goibibo team (Mr. Harshal, Mr. Mayank, Ms Ritu and many others over several calls.
We requested them for refund of the amount and cancellation of our booking as it was exceptional situation.
But they denied point blank saying it was not in their policy.
We requested them for amendment of the booking to a later date to which also they disagreed.
This is sheer case of hotel in conjunction with Goibibo misguiding and extracting money twice by unfair trade practice by selling the same room to multiple guests and recovering more than double the amount towards taxes also.
Please look into it and let me know the way forward to recover my hard earned money.
