Recently you may have read IRDA scams all across media – Mystery unlocked, it is a very well organized Fraud by ALL Life Insurance companies and Commission Agents, carefully read the following, this is what has happened with me

1. You get sales call, stating Reliance has a policy which gives you a card on which you get 20% discount on all reliance products i.e. Electricity bill, reliance fresh, etc.

2. Very Lucrative – You buy it

3. Your policy goes to verification to Some IRDA (a fraud plotted by the agency itself), note he has all your policy details

4. The IRDA fraud calls you and plays like a very good guy, appointed to help people. He states the policy you have taken on it the insurance company will be claiming Profit and Loss settlement benefit from government and will receive instant cash back, this benefit should be enjoyed by the customer and he will help in doing so

5. 2 days later he again calls saying you need to match a specific amount and buy another reliance policy to get cashback

6. You agree to buy the same and feel its genuine, since NO CHEQUE IS REQUESTED IN PERSONAL NAME AND NO CASH IS DEMANDED

7. After second policy the guy says to receive more cashback purchase another policy from HDFC Life, since its latest government scheme

8. You fall for the trap, Later another person calls from IRDA stating he is the higher authority of IRDA, he has all your papers and you cannot receive cashback since your investment is not matching so now to get out of this You have TO BUY AEGON RELIGARES OFFICIAL POLICY

9. Now the delay cycle begins, so they can waste enough of your time and get you trapped completely

10. You don’t receive any cash back, any you are left with frustration and anger, so now you start complaining and expect Insurance Companies to Help, but shockingly even they are a part of this entire scam,


Following is the insurance companies response
1. After calling customer care which should actually be termed as Customer TRAP center and complaining about fraud, they very happily tell you, you cannot withdraw the policy since 15 days have passed, so basically you are trapped

2. Policy cannot be surrendered since there is a minimum of 3 years lock in period, so you have to invest for 3 years

3. To officially complaint, you need to visit branch office, write a letter, the letter will be reviewed, forwarded to n no of people, then some one will revert, so again 1 month, to frustrate you out and you decide to continue with the policy


SUMMARY –
1. You end up with 4 PLOICIES

2. INSURANCE COMPANIES ENJOY YOUR MONEY FOR 3 YEARS

4. SALES AGENT ENJOY THE COMMISSION FOR 3 YEARS

A very well game planned by Insurance companies and agencies, where all policies are official no cash is demanded nor any person cheque is demanded to make it look completely genuine
Please please all be careful and save yourself from such fraud and kindly avoid calls from following companies and agencies to protect yourself
