Complaint Details
I have an EDC Machine installed through the HDFC Bank. My bank account number is 50200009579592. I wanted the have the machine replaced due to the installation of the wrong device. I called on the HDFC customer care number. The customer care officials gave me another number for the EDC Machine support. On calling the given number I was informed that they did not deal with the EDC Machines. After going through the loop of calling for 10-15, i finally got connected to the so called merchant support. The merchant support deals with the complaints and queries related to the EDC machines. The merchant support customer care executive asked me for the TID number related to the machine. I was never given the TID number. My machine also does not produce any print outs as it is POS machine operated using a mobile app. The merchant support executive asked me to mail to merchanthelpdesk@hdfcbank.com in such a situation. But the mail failed to delivery because of the non existence of such a user. I have been banging my head with HDFC bank for the last 8 hours and have been unable to come out with any sensible solution.
