Sir,
On seeing the advertisement in snapdeal that the Voltas 1.2 Ton 5 Star 155 CY Split Air Conditioner has got 1 +5(for compressor) years warranty, i have placed the order on 1.04.2016 to buy the product by cash on delivery. The product was delivered to me on 5.04.2016 after i have paid the money of Rs.25990/-. Then i have given the details as mentioned in the invoice of snapdeal to VOLTAS for registering the product online. I was answered by the voltas people that the product delivered by snapdeal is not applicable for 1+5 years warranty and the warranty period is for one year only.
Hence, i have placed a return request on 06.04.2016 to get back the product and refund my money as the product was not installed and it was not covered for the warranty period as mentioned in snapdeal (i.e 1+5years warranty). But the snapdeal people did not resolve this issue yet. On the based on their advertisement only i have bought the product through snapdeal. Hence, they are only responsible for the above mentioned warranty issue. for the past one week i contacted the customer care for a solution for this issue. I have recorded the conversations also. i Request you to instruct them to get back the product and refund the money paid to them. I also request you to give a compensation of Rs.25,000/- for the mental agony caused by them for the past one week.
