Hello,

I had booked a flight ticket for Air Asia flight in Make My Trip website.

The flight was on 8pm June 4th 2016 from Bangalore to Kochi. The booking was on 25th May 2016. I wanted to cancel the ticket and called the Make My trip support line 1800 102 8747 to check the charges.

The ticket cost was 1299+200 - Rs.1499
The cancellation fee that the support executivemChanda Chandam of Make My trip informed is Rs.1742 for the ticket and Rs.300 charges for Make My Trip.i.e Rs2042.00 to cancel a ticket of Rs 1499.00

Please look into this.

Is it not Shylock kind of behaviour from the part of the tour operator and the airline to charge such rates.

There should be a cancellation fee,but is it not daylight robbery to charge higher to cancel the ticket than the actual ticket itself.

I hope authorities will act truthfully and judiciously to protect the consumers.
