Complaint Details
I had ordered an Apple iPhone 6s plus 128 gb Golden colour from Paytm on 6th April 2016 (invoice attached). The phone was delivered on 9th April 2016. In almost a month the phone went dead. There was no response on the screen and it was completely black. This happened on 24th May 2016. I went to the authorized Apple service center in Fort, Mumbai. They took my phone and gave me a letter (attached). They thoroughly checked the phone hence for a total period of 5 days after which they called me to the serivce center and explained to me the problem. They said that the phone when got from Paytm had an unauthorized screen on it, hence could not be covered under warranty. They suggested that I talk to Paytm with a report they generated which explains the problem (attached). I have been calling Paytm on their customer care helpline and they just refuse to solve this proble. I do not have a spare phone now and have suffered enough because of that. The customer care representatives give me a deadline of 72 hours or 48 hours or 24 hours and never follow the same. They have not e-mailed me anything at all. I have my phone records, which show that I have called them at least 10 times in the last 2 weeks and still the problem is not solved. I spoke to 3 senior people from Paytm, Mr Arneet Singh, Mr Rajesh Kumar and Mr Mohammad Ali. They too have not been able to resolve this.
