I have purchased my Duster Diesel RXE on 30-May-2014 from INTEGRA , pp.Rahman Hospitals, VIP Road, Six-mile, Guwahati 781 022.
Since the time of my first service I have been reporting clutch problem and if you see the service record, you would find that during every service I have taken up this issue.
But service team (TI Automobiles, Guwahati) seems to be indifferent to the same. Even today I face the same problem. It was really shocking to note that the Service person has made a statement that he can’t do much about it and the problem will remain as Duster Diesel RXE 85 PS is of inferior quality and there is not much they can do about the same.
Secondly, it’s been just 2 years (17000 kms approx) and the vehicle body and hood makes abnormal noise. Even for the noise problem, the service engineer seems to have no solution.
During my visit on 24-Nov-2015 they had to say that sub-standard channels were used during the time of manufacturing and the same shall be replaced which has not been done later on but nothing seems have changed. When the service team repairs the same it remains silent for few days and again the noise submerges. To inform you that most of driving is on city roads.
Last month I had given the vehicle for service to TI Automobiles, registered Service Centre of Renault. I had reported noise in the door again and the brake was not working to the level it should. The service team reported that the same was rectified but the same was reported again after the service.
During the purchase I had told the salesman whether the variant 85 PS will have sufficient capability to do off roading or climb the hills. The salesman was confident enough and conveyed to me that there will be no problems of climbing or offroading with 85 PS. Now when I try to do the same with this vehicle, it has issues with climbing moderate climbs of Shillong even. It seems that at that point of time, the 85 PS was available in the showroom and to push the sales, the sales person given me wrong information.
From the very beginning their was issue of trust between Renault and myself.
I have had spent lot of money on repairs and have visited their service centre (TI Automobiles, Guwahati) many a time to find a solution but to no avail. Now I get a mail from Mr Seshathri.N, Customer Relationship Manager that I have used sub-standard accessories in the vehicle which has resulted in poor performance. If Mr Seshathri is referring to spare parts here then I would like to inform that if any spares have been used in this vehicle that has been purchased from Renault Service Centre and if it is of sub-standard then the service center is selling a sub-standard product which is a fraudulent act.
I am absolutely let down by Renault India Pvt Ltd during every step of my association with them.
Now I would like to discontinue the association with them and under same circumstance would request intervention of the Consumer Protection Forum.
Would request to give me justice and let me have the return of the whole amount that I have spent in buying the vehicle along with compensation for breach of trust.
Purchase Price: Rs 9,04,800+Insurance: Rs 23,096+Road Tax: Rs 24,454
I am extremely hopeful that I shall get justice at the earliest.
Attached herewith all the relevant documents and communication made with the local service center and Renault India Pvt Ltd. I have even made communication with Mr Sumit Sawhney The MD and CEO of the company.
My vehicle registration number is AS-01-BL-7293.
