Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing on behalf of my sister Neha Singh.
1. She took the flight from Delhi to Bangalore on 10.07.2016, flight number 9W 0817, and had one luggage with Bag Tag Number as 9W802003.
2. While she reached Bangalore, her baggage did not arrived at destination.
3. She bought the issue to the notice of jet airways ground staff in Bangalore, the staff took the address and promise to deliver the baggage by 5pm, however neither the bag nor any call from the staff came.
4. Since reaching home, out of curosity she kept calling 10 +different people on different numbers however there was no concrete response about the baggage.
5. Evening I made a call to customer care at around 8pm on 10th july, however the response was the same "Your bag is untraceable", i then spoke to Ms. Deepali, who was the supervisor at that point of time, she again gave me assurance that whatever the status be, i can expect a call by 11pm(as i understand thats the closing hours), which came out to be ONE MORE lip service. finally 10:50 i made a call again at the customer care and they requested the time till 12noon next day.
It is a great disappointment to say that an airline like Jet Airways having International Status have such sorry state of affairs:
Things which disappoint is not the baggage mishandling but following :
1. Lack of commitment/Unprofessional attitude, as customer care was showing her aggression because of the repeated calls.
2. Continuous follow up from the passenger rather than call from some official of the Jet Airways had been much more promising.
3. Lack of sensitivity - as how the passenger will manage without the baggage and perhaps some option to make the passenger comfortable without her baggage which may contain important items.
Passenger had to leave her office today which was unscheduled, it was a tough time explaining to her superior about the reasons.
I am not sure as to whom this mail will finally reach, whether it will be read and replied. It just a mere effort to know whether she will get her baggage or not.
This is the last time any of my family member, my friends, my office colleagues are taking a Jet Airways flight!!
