Dear Sir,

Few days back due to a problem with Videocon washing machine, I had to phone Videocon washing machine service center for repairs. The service person who arrived advised me to change one of the component (costing Rs 3000) to make the machine work and left to fetch the replacement the next day. However in the mean time my son had some how repaired the machine. Since the washing machine was now in the working condition, I phoned up the videocon service center to cancel our complaint. Now the Videocon service person around asking me to pay Rs 350 as the service charge for just visiting.

Upon refusing to pay fees for the service they haven't rendered, they started a quarrel. This inspite of offering him full traveling charges for his visit, just to avoid quarrels, he still refused arguing that it was their company policy to charge Rs 350 for home visit.

My issue is that videocon has a policy to charges its costumers Rs 350, just for lodging a complaint about the washing machine. It does not matter if its repaired or not repaired or already repaired by the costumers themselves. Its grossly unfair.

I would kind request CCRC to provide help in this matter.
